This is it. This blog exists because there are lots of interesting things to write about. And I know how to write.

This is it. This is my Jerry Maguire moment. And, yes, I get the irony of that. Listen, I know James Brown was oh so right. I know it’s a man’s world. And before you roll your eyes and get all “Good gravy, not another shrill feminist weirdo girl with some anti-dude agenda” (The kids still say “good gravy”, right?) let me say this- So many dudes are brilliant. I love dudes. (Careful, perv.)

But this is it. The one thing men are definitely better at than women is not hiding their light under a bushel. (Good gravy, I’m working up to expressions from this century.) Generally, Men get good at things and, generally, are much better at saying they’re good at things. That they’re proud of themselves. That they’re in love with their vocation. But try being a woman and saying that out loud. I know, right?

So, this is it. This is my moment. I am a writer. I write. I don’t always enjoy it, but I always love it. It is my vocation. I’m really good at it, but I am always striving to get better. I’ll chat about screenwriting and stuff I’m working on, plus other random things of interest. If that’s what you want to do, you’re in the right place.
